Bronze for Hollie Orr

Another great 3rd place for Hollie Orr in the British Sprint Elite Champs on Sunday.  The qualifers were held in Astley Village, while the final started in Chorley Town centre and then twisted through Astley Park finishing on the lawn in front of Astley Hall.

While Hollie was winning bronze in the Women’s Elite race, Alastair and Andrew were burnt away by Men’s Winner Graham Gristwood in the qualifier race so missed out on the ‘A’ final.  Andrew beat Alastair by 6 seconds in the qualifier, but Alastair came back in the ‘C’ final to finish 33rd with Andrew in 54th.
