Clyde invited to join British Orienteering Club Talent Squads Project
Clyde is one of 5 clubs recently invited to take part in the 2010 British Orienteering Club Talent Squads’ Project. As part of this project the club is launching a programme of regular fitness training sessions suitable for members of all levels of fitness, which will be supplemented by a programme of orienteering skills training beginning in 2011.
Tuesday Club Nights
Fortnightly evening training sessions (hills, intervals etc) suitable for all levels of fitness. (See Summer Tuesday Evening Schedule for details)
Thursday Evening Hill Runs
Meet every Thursday at 7pm to run on the hills north of Glasgow. For directions contact club.
Monthly Saturday Morning Club Sessions
Starting in October the Club has organised a series of monthly training and information sessions. The aim is to provide something for all club members and each session will include some physical activity plus input from visiting coaches / international athletes. Details of the programme will be published shortly.
