CLYDE Qualify for the Compass Sport Trophy Final

Many thanks for everyone who turned out and ran for CLYDE in a snowy but surprisingly runnable and enjoyable Faskally on Sunday 19th February.

I’m really very grateful to everyone who made the effort to run for CLYDE in the Scottish qualifying round of the Compass Sport Trophy, but I especially wanted to thank Donald who earned us 99 points despite running in the Scottish Cross Country Championships yesterday, Laura who earned us a very welcome 96 points on Light Green Women, Jessica who went to a lot of time and effort getting to Faskally to earn us 96 points on Blue Women, and Angelika who earned us 92 points on Blue Women by joining BOF last Friday.

The great news is that our third place finish (behind worthy winners FVO and INT) means that we qualified for the final to be held in the Scottish Borders on 30th September 2012, so put the date in your diaries now!
