News of Clyde relay teams at JK

Clyde entered 4 teams in the JK relays held on the sand dunes of Braunton Burrows in North Devon, with contributions from everyone to our results.

M120+ class   Clyde Destroyers (Donald/Steve/Robin)  9th out of 52
W120+ class   Clyde Frigates (Rachel/Liz/Amelia)  14th out of 27
Mixed-ad-hoc   Clyde Cruisers (Alastair/Andrew/Claire)  34th out of 95

Our all-Wilson junior team (Clyde Speedboats) suffered the misfortune of being given a wrong map at the start but well done to Thomas for running the extra kilometre!  Also not to be overlooked were excellent performances from Hollie Orr, Jessica Orr and Ed Nicholas, all running for university teams, with finishes of 2nd, 5th and 13th respectively in the JK trophies.

Similar relays will be on offer at the Scottish Championships at the end of May - there are categories to suit everyone, so please let Patrick Walder know (see contacts page) if you would like to be involved.
