Successful CLYDE Training Weekend
The weekend of 28th/29th April saw a highly successful local CLYDE training weekend, with a large group of CLYDEsiders tacking a wide range of exercises on The Slacks planned by Simon and Lizzie Gardner on the newly extended map by Patrick Walder on Saturday, and some testing exercises (including control picking on a specially produced version of the map with all of the paths removed) planned by Patrick Walder on Glenniffer Braes on Sunday. When you include some very sunny weather on both days and a fish and chip supper at Simon and Lizzie’s new house on Saturday evening, it all added up to a very productive and enjoyable weekend of preparation for the Scottish and British Championships in May. Thanks to everyone who did their bit to make the weekend such a success.
