Win for Dave Robertson at Scottish Night Champs
A victory for Dave Robertson on M45 was the highlight for Clyde at the Scottish Night Championships, which were held at a very cold but dry Faskally near Pitlochry on Saturday night. Also a near miss for new member Rory Matheson, coming in only two minutes behind the winner on M21, and some very close competition between Andy Mac and Andy P.
M21 Rory Matheson 3rd 72.59
M35 Alastair Dunlop 3rd 114.09
M40 Andrew MacPherson 5th 94.45
M40 Andy Paterson 6th 95.12
M45 Dave Robertson 1st 62.44
Open 5 Catriona Robertson 3rd 57.43
Novice Lindsay Robertson 3rd 84.30
Manning the finish - Kenny Milton
Two Clyde enthusiasts returned to Faskally in the daylight on Sunday for Stag’s Knoll-bagging event, which involved visiting as many control sites on knolls as possible within one hour. Kenny Milton was 10th, visiting 67 knolls, and Alastair Dunlop 16th after visiting 66 knolls !
