What: Transitions from open to low visibility and vice versa. Suitable for all levels.

Sat 17th Nov - Clyde Urban event and AGM - Milngavie

You are cordially invited to attend Clyde’s next urban event followed by our AGM at the Milngavie Library/Community Centre, including tea and cake.
Where: Milngavie Community Centre, Allander Rd, Milngavie, Glasgow G62 8PN
When : 17 November, 13:00
Urban Event: 
• Starts from 13:15,
• 3 courses – long, medium, short (suitable for juniors 16- and novices)
• Cost £3 / £1 (adults/ juniors)
• Planner: Ian Davidson
AGM:
• 15:00-16:30, in the Quiet room
• Come to celebrate club successes & club awards (including Croy Bowl),
• Elect new committee and find out about other key club roles
• Contribute to plans for 2019 events and coaching, new website and how to ensure club is sustainable
• Meet rest of club for tea and cake.
If you are interested in being more involved in Clyde, there are a number of opportunities to volunteer both on the committee and some vital non-committee posts – such as spring series planner, coaching support events,  spring series coordinator, publicity/ website updater, volunteer coordinator.  The committee meets 4 times a year. The first of our winter training sessions will take place on Dunrod Hill and will be about what to do when you get lost, and how to use contours.

Greenock Cut Visitor Centre Cornalees Bridge, Inverkip PA16 9LX

When: Saturday 10 November 2018 10:30 – 12:30

What: Two possible training exercises, one on using contours and the second on relocation (what to do when you are lost!)

CLYDE Juniors Help West Area to Close Second Place in Inter Area Competition

CLYDE at the Compass Sport Trophy Final 2018

CLYDE CST Final 2018

A small group of dedicated CLYDEsiders made the long trip south to Staffordshire for the 2018 Compass Sport Trophy Final. The standout performances were by Alice Wilson (100 points) on Short Green, Thomas Wilson (99 points) on Brown, and Donald Petrie (99 points) on Green Men. Congratulations and thank you to everyone who made the effort to turn out for the club at this important annual event. Full results can be found here.

Who are we

Clydeside Orienteers is an orienteering club based in Glasgow, Scotland.  We welcome members from anywhere in the Glasgow and surrounding area or indeed from further afield.  The club runs regular training sessions, supplemented by regular fitness training sessions, suitable for all members and we regularly attend other local and national events.
