Clyde Thursday Terrain Run 27th Oct 2011

Event report
Building on last week’s 6 people, we managed a recent record of 8 people this week.
Starting at the north end of the Erskine bridge, a gentle warm up on the Loch Humphrey road was followed by a steep climb all the way to the Slacks trig point,
faster runners looping back to make sure we arrived at the top together.
Dave then led off downhill by an interesting route through heather and tussocks, before a slippery descent down another track.
Rachel came along having heard that Steve wasn’t doing the navigating.
Al wanted to try out his shiny new torch.
Agnese came back; not put off by her first run at Cochno last week.
Dave, Andrew, Claire, Ben and Christine made up the rest.
6km, 1 hour 5 minutes, 380m of climb
Same again next week, but it won’t be the Slacks. Something a little less steep is promised.
