Event report
The event was held in sunshine (see the photos on the CLYDE Flickr site)
Erskine proved to be an excellent test of speed and concentration. Donald’s courses were extremely well received and the whole event went off without a hitch.
Many thanks to all who came to the race, to Andy and the many Clyde helpers who made it run so smoothly, to Patrick for his map, to Trevor the controller and to Robin Strain for his calm computing expertise.

Erskine is a compact combination of tricky residential housing estates, each with its own character, interspersed with smaller wooded areas. Mapped initially for the WOC sprint selection races in 2010, from which it received much positive comment, it provides a test of concentration as much as stamina.

Erskine ISSOM Map.
Erskine is a superbly intricate urban area. Mapped to ISSOM standard by Patrick and used for British Squad World Championships Selection races in 2010 and Nopesport Urban League Races in 2011.
