Event report
A session with a difference!.
For our first daylight session on the Southside, Alastair Dunlop organised a map run with questions to be answered in order to uncover the name of a famous sports club. We ran as a group to be more sociable and learned lots about the area, visiting places that even local girl Kate had never been to before. We went to the top of the hill in Queen’s Park, through the old Third Lanark stadium to the new Hampden Stadium, examined the monument by the Victoria Infirmary returning to Alastair’s 45 minutes later having run up several steep hills en route.
It was a really enjoyable session and I certainly found it easier to run up the hills than in previous weeks. The training must be working!
