Race report
Get your mind in gear for the Scottish Night Championships in the evening by running a sprint race round Milngavie Town Centre in the afternoon.
Based in Milngavie Library and Comminuty Centre the sprint race has a choice of 3 courses:
Beginners (Yellow ~1.8km)
Short (Fully technical and Under 16 friendly ~2.5km)
Long (~3.5km)

There are a variety of cafes, pubs restaurants in Milngavie if you need to refuel before the night race.
The race is only 10 minutes from the Night Championships venue and will make a great warm up to polish up any rusty technique.
You are free to run any course you want with the one limit that unaccompanied Under 16s cannot run the Long course.
Suggested classes are:
Beginners Men/Women Young Juniors (12-)
Short Men/Women Junior (16-), UltraVeteran (65+)
Long Men/Women Open, Veteran(40+)and SuperVeteran (55+)

Terrain description
Milngavie Town Centre ISSOM
An interestingly varied sprint area including parkland, complicated housing estates, woodland, bridges and underpasses, railways and supermarkets. A great test of varying pace and skills.
