Race report
Well done and thank you to everyone who ran in a very physical Compass Sport Trophy Final yesterday. Despite an understrength squad we still managed to finish 6th, well up on last year’s 9th place. Indeed, we were within 10 points of 5th, which I believe would have been our best ever position.
I’m pretty sure we had the smallest team of any competing club with almost everyone counting. Special thanks to those who made it around courses they wouldn’t normally have entered in order to ensure we had a complete team - your efforts were greatly appreciated!
