Explanation of Event levels

Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Training events are non competitive and used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

Overview

Clyde's final evening event of the summer series is a West End Urban at Kelvingrove Park on Thursday 8 July. This is the 2nd attempt at this event, first held in May when only Glasgow residents could attend due to the Covid travel restrictions at the time.

So come and try Alastair's Maprun courses (long, medium and short) if you missed out last time (or want to have another go!)

The short course is entirely within Kelvingrove Park and is traffic free and is suitable for all. Under 16s must be accompanied on the Medium and Long courses as these involve road crossings.
