Map of MilngavieTerrain description

Milngavie Town Centre ISSOM

An interestingly varied sprint area including parkland, complicated housing estates, woodland, bridges and underpasses, railways and supermarkets. A great test of varying pace and skills.
Mapped by Dave Robertson.

There will be coaching available for beginners as well as the more experienced.
We have a room in the Community Centre, so hot drinks may be possible and there should be cakes (donations welcome towards World Schools Orienteering Championships races for Alastair and Kirsten).
If you want to do some armchair training then Simon Errington has a good description of what control descriptions are all about HERE, and he even has a QUIZ to test your knowledge.
