Glasgow University Orienteering and Trail-running club is a recently formed university affiliated society; tailored to students at all Glasgow universities and colleges.

It is linked to Clydeside Orienteers as a development project and all members enjoy first claim CLYDE membership being integrated into the wider CLYDE community. This allows the opportunity to race in CLYDE relay teams at events such as the Scottish Championships and Devils Burden; and for CLYDE in competitions such as the Compass Sport Cup. This also allows GOAT members the ability to be mentored by CLYDE members and have much greater training opportunities.
